Citronella Oil For Lamps And Torches

Citronella oils, commonly known as torch fuel or citronella lamp oil, belongs to the group of healthy fragrant cymbopogon’s from Asia, which was popular in Europe during antiquity. The Greeks and Romans nardus, or fragrant grass, can rarely be identified as species, not even they themselves could distinguish all these Asian grass species.

The matter did not improve when the European translators confused it with the other species of grass. Today citronella oil is used as cheap and effective fragrances in everything that is supposed to smell fresh. Store it like all essential oils: dark, cool and airtight.
