Bamboo Tiki Torches

Bamboo tiki torches is a light source consisting of a torch on top of a bamboo rod. Bamboo tiki torches have now almost fallen out of use except for ceremonial use. Torches were used in an earlier time, when man began to operate fire. Modern bamboo tiki torches consists of a thin cylinder of metal mounted on top of a bamboo rod which can be carried by hand, mounted to a wall or the ground. A torch of this type burns for about 8-12 hours depending on size of the fuel source. These torches do not release burning pieces of paper like their wood and paper counterparts, which makes them suitable for use all year long.

Few things look so beautiful like when your garden is lit up by burning bamboo tiki torches, while the sky is colored orange by the sunset. In Hawaii, there are thousands, if not more, bamboo tiki torches burning every night. The bamboo tiki torches contain relatively large volumes of highly flammable substances. It is very important that they are constantly handled safely. Therefore, they should also be kept out of reach from children.
